vinyl too hard, works better using crimpers for non insulated terminals. Repair pigtails often come with larger sized wires that only need two large and three smaller gage wires in connector.Needs a little tweaking.

KST2000M - 10 to 6 AWG Wire Ferrules Crimping Tool, UL Recognized, Trapezoidal Crimp, 1 Piece Frank S. I tried to clamp a 6awg connector with this crimping tool. I could not do it.
This crimping tool handle is to short to provide enough torque. Had to use a bolt cutter to crimping the ferril.
